Anonymous asked: really like your new monoprints, your style has changed so much since uni. i'm impressed. you say they're based on past experiences but they're really blatant, are you an artist or an attention seeker, kid?

thanks for the compliments about my prints, yeh it’s different to the work I did at uni. where that was audience led work this current series is more personal and for me rather than made for an audience. the work IS based on past experiences, monoprinting lends itself well to writing as you think as it’s so immediate.
in answer to your question i wouldn’t say I was an attention seeker, if i was i’d be sending anonymous messages to my ex boyfriend on tumblr, wouldn’t i?

a small selection of monoprints that i’ve been working on recently, all based on past and current personal experiences. I’m hoping to get enough together that I can have a go at making my first artist book. We shall see.

hey anonymous, thanks very much! no I don’t do any animation i’m afraid, and haven’t done anything comic-book style in a long time. who knows, might do again one day.
